Patrick Mofokeng is a South African actor best known for his role as King Sibiya in the television drama Zone 14.
He has made numerous television guest appearances in series like Isidingo, Scandal!, Backstage and Yizo Yizo, and played the leading role of Solomon Sithole in the second film (The Good Provider) of the Heartlines series, in 2006.
He also played the role of Reverend Serote in the 2006 mini-series When We Were Black, which scooped the drama category at the 2007 SAFTAs, with seven awards including Best TV Drama.
Mofokeng acted in the 1997 made-for-TV movie Pride of Africa and played a small role in the 1998 feature film Jackie Chan's Who Am I?.
He also appeared in the 2005 film Man To Man, starring Joseph Fiennes and Kristin Scott Thomas, about a Scottish couple in 1870 who kidnap two pygmies from Africa and take them back to Scotland for study, in an attempt to illustrate the link between man and ape.
Mofokeng won the 2007 Golden Horn award for Best Actor in a TV Drama for his role in The Good Provider, at the second annual South African Film and Television Academy awards (SAFTAs).
In 2008 he appeared in the feature film Surprise, in the role of Gerald Judge.
In 2011 he played the role of Jimmy, a local part-time electrician, in the eleventh season of the SABC1 AIDS drama series Soul City.
