George Kennedy is an American actor best known as Joe Patroni in all four of the Airport disaster movies in the 1970s, and as Captain Ed Hocken in the Naked Gun movie trilogy.He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Cool Hand Luke (1967).
