Anthony Head is an English actor and musician best known for his role as Rupert Giles in the television sci-fi series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, appearing in 123 episodes from 1997-2003.

He is also known as the Prime Minister in 18 episodes of the British comedy show Little Britain and had a leading role in the short-lived series VR.5.

Head has had recurring roles in other television shows such as Howard's Way, Fillmore!, Manchild, and Monarch Of The Glen.

He has guest starred on numerous shows, including The Comic Strip Presents; Highlander; NYPD Blue; Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place; Spooks; My Family; Hotel Babylon; and Doctor Who.

Head has also appeared in numerous feature films, including Lady Chatterley's Lover (1981); A Prayer for the Dying (1987); I'll Be There (2003); Framing Frankie (2005); Imagine Me & You (2005); and Scoop (2006).
