Frankie Faison (sometimes credited as Frankie R. Faison) is an American actor best known for his role as Commissioner Ervin H. Burrell in the police drama television series The Wire, from 2002-2008. He also has a starring role as Sugar Bates, a former boxer, ex-con and the owner of the local watering hole The Forge who knows Lucas' secret past and has his back, in the action drama television series Banshee.
