Mpume "Six" Nyamane is a South African actress best known for her role as Nozipho in the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy.
Hailing from Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, she initially studied finance at UNISA but dropped out to pursue a career in acting.
Her first professional role was in the 2019 comedy film Blessers, playing the daughter of a businessman.
Six first appeared on television in the recurring role of Amo on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, making her first appearance in an episode that aired on 21 April, 2021.
Shortly thereafter she landed another recurring role in an e.tv soapie, this time as Buhle on Scandal!, first appearing on 30 November, 2021.
The following year she played the recurring role of Akhona in the third and final season of the 1Magic drama series Unmarried, first appearing in Season 3, Episode 4, which aired on 29 April, 2022.
She followed this up with the recurring role of Mandisa on the SABC1 comedy-drama telenovela uBettina Wethu, first appearing in an episode which aired on 24 August, 2022 (Season 2, Episode 33).
She returned to the role for the following season in 2023.
Her breakout role came when she was cast as Nozipho in Generations, first appearing in a recurring capacity in December 2022.
She was promoted to starring cast for Season 33 in 2024 and made her last appearance on the show on 24 April, 2025.
Six landed her second starring role in television when she was cast as Zethu Hlongwane in the Mzansi Wethu telenovela Homecoming.
Her character in the show is a straight-A medical graduate hoping to become one of the country's few Black female surgeons, but when things don't turn out how she had hoped she is forced to return to the village she left behind.
The series premiered on 28 July, 2025.
