Mnqobi Kunene is a South African model, influencer and actor best known for his starring role as Simphiwe in the 1Magic drama series How to Manifest a Man.
Hailing from Mondlo in KwaZulu-Natal, he was the Men's Health Cover Guy in 2019.
He made his television acting debut in an episode of the e.tv soapie Imbewu: The Seed, playing a bodyguard in Season 3, Episode 193 (which aired on 6 January, 2021).
Mnqobi landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as Simphiwe, a philandering man who loses his memory only for his wife to mould him into the man she wants him to be, in How to Manifest a Man.
The series premiered on 1Magic on Thursday 4 August, 2023.
In 2024 he joined the SABC1 soapie Uzalo as loyal, ambitious leader Geja, a champion of his community and family.
