Vuyo Ngcukana is a South African actor best known for his role as Schumacher on the Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen.
After studying Public Relations at college, he landed his first role in television when he was cast as a villager in the series finale of the SABC1 drama series Intsikam in October 2011.
Vuyo next appeared in an episode of the eKasi+ drama anthology series eKasi: Our Stories entitled "Ngwana wa Tsenwa" (Season 5, Episode 38), which first aired on 1 April, 2014.
A string of guest starring roles ensued in productions including the SABC1 sitcom Single Galz, the SABC2 sitcom Skwizas, the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Road, the Vuzu Amp drama series aYeYe and the second season of the SABC1 romantic comedy series Dream World.
His big break came when he was cast as Schumacher in the Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen, first appearing in the series premiere on 1 August, 2016.
Initially recurring for the first four seasons, he was promoted to starring cast for Season 5.
Also in 2016, he was a commentator on the Vuzu countdown show 10 Over 10 and had a guest starring role in the second season of the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka's Diary.
The following year he starred in an Original Mzansi Movie called The Perfect Makoti, alongside Zikhona Bali. The telemovie first aired on Mzansi Magic on 14 April, 2017.
