Anita Sibozo is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Sinovuyo 'Sino' Mdledle, a self-sacrificing young artist who has the hopes of her family riding on her success in the big city, in the 1Magic drama series Ingoma.
It was her first starring role in television.
She was previously known for her recurring role as Innocent in the Mzansi Magic drama series Saints and Sinners, making her first appearance in Season 3, Episode 5 (which aired on 5 February, 2017).
She first appeared on television playing the guest role of Leo in the SABC1 sitcom My Perfect Family, appearing in Season 4, Episode 3 (which aired on 12 October, 2016). Prior to that she was featured in a television commercial for Hippo, also in 2016.
Anita also had a cameo role as "Jellybean Girl" in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso, appearing in Season 1, Episode 173 (which aired on 29 January, 2018).
Hre first starring role came in the 1Magic / Mzansi Magic music industry drama Ingoma, which premiered on 1Magic on Saturday 7 April, 2018 and on Mzansi Magic on Tuesday 9 April. The series is about three Eastern Cape youngsters who move to Cape Town to make it big.
