Bio
Fikile Mthwalo is a Lesotho-born South African actress, scriptwriter and TV presenter best known for her recurring role as Zak, Rajesh Kumar's efficient PA, on the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo.
Her first day of filming for Isidingo took place on 24 July, 2014.
Fikile is half-Sotho and half-Tanzanian and was born and raised in Lesotho. She attended Machabeng International College in Maseru from 2001-2005 before moving to Bloemfontein, where she completed her matric at St Michael's School for Girls in 2007.
She studied for a BA Film and Video Production at the University of Cape Town from 2009-2011 and did her Honours in Film Studies in 2012. She later relocated to Johannesburg.
Fikile was one of the Top 24 finalists in an O-Access Presenter Search on Channel O in 2010. Other Top 24 finalists included Khanyi Mbau and eventual winner Dineo Moeketsi, who launched her career on the show.
Fikile has acted in numerous television commercials, for clients including Nivea UK, Metropolitan, PEP, Shoprite, Ponds, Omo, Hi-Malt Nigeria and Etiselat Nigeria.
Her first starring role in television came in 2015 as the character of Ipeleng, a perfectionist questiong her seven-year-long relationship, in the Mzansi Magic drama series It's Complicated.
