Jonny Harris is a Canadian actor and comedian best known for his starring role as Constable George Crabtree, Murdoch's assistant, in the television drama series Murdoch Mysteries.

Originally hailing from Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, Jonny's unique brand of dyed-in-the-wool maple syrup humour earned him a position as a staff writer on the quintessential Canadian comedy show This Hour Has 22 Minutes as well as Mary Walsh's sitcom Hatching, Matching and Dispatching.

He has performed at the biggest comedy festivals across Canada including the iconic Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and has his own award-winning standup comedy special on Comedy Now!.

Jonny's show Still Standing combines his sense of adventure with his genuine love of small town Canada.
