Danny Nucci is an Austrian-born American actor best known to television viewers for his starring role as police officer Mike Foster, Stef's ex-husband and Brandon's biological father who requests to partner up with Stef after her regular partner leaves the department, in the teen drama television series The Fosters.
Born in Austria, Nucci began his career making appearances on such hit television shows as Growing Pains, Magnum P.I., and Falcon Crest. He would later move into films such as Book of Love, Alive and the Bette Midler vehicle That Old Feeling.
His success continued in feature films with roles in the Tony Scott-directed Crimson Tide, the classic action film and James Cameron's blockbuster Titanic, as well as a number of well received independent films such as Homage, The Outfitters, Sinatra Club and Escapee.
Nucci has been seen in numerous guest-starring appearances on the small screen in NCIS, Arrow, CSI: Miami, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY and Criminal Minds, with arcs as Henry on The Booth at the End and Gilbert Mazzara on Castle.
