Bio

Refilwe Modiselle is a South African model and marketer best known for being the first albino model to appear on a runway in South Africa when she appeared for designer David Tlale in a show in 2005.

She is also known for starring in the Top One reality television series SugaRushed, from 2012-2013.

Refilwe is also known as LEGiT 2012's Summer Campaign Ambassador or South Africa's "first working Albino model". She has also had some experience in the music industry, where she performed as a backing vocalist for South African singer Keabetswe "KB" Motsilanyane while in school.

She was born in Rockville, Soweto and lived with her mother and father until she was four years old, after which her family moved to Orange Grove, Johannesburg. Her family relocated again following the death of her father when she was a girl.

With top qualifications and a strong background in advertising, Refilwe has worked for global media agency Mindshare SA, Republic Media, Bonngoe Productions and N2 MEdia's MTN Play Radio.

In 2013 she began co-hosting the talk show Eksê: Let's Talk with Masechaba Lekalake with Tol A$$ Mo and Masechaba Lekalake on the OpenView HD channel eKasi+. It was the first original series to air on eKasi+, starting on the evening that the channel went live in October 2013. It began the following day on e.tv as well and got a second season in 2014.

In 2015 the show changed format and took on new presenters. Refilwe moved to start co-hosting (with Zola Hashatsi) the e.tv celebrity magazine show Hush, in which she and Zola interview celebrities in an informal environment and go backstage at various events, giving viewers a scoop of the latest in Mzansi celebville.
