Austin MacDonald is a Canadian actor best known for him role as Roger in the 2008 film Kit Kittredge: An American Girl and as Andy in the Roxy Hunter series of films.
Starting in commercials, MacDonald began acting at the age of eight. An ambitious young actor, he wasted no time making the jump into the television and film industry and was cast as Auzzie in the Family Channel series Debra, produced by Cookie Jar Productions.
Austin also played Andy Jacobs in the television series Life With Boys and has had principal roles on the television series Living in Your Car and Doodlebops and appearances in The Ron James Show, The Rick Mercer Report, Little Mosque on the Prairie and Mudpit.
Austin's feature credits include Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and the Roxy Hunter series of movies. He also worked with Dennis Lee on a project called Jesus Henry Christ, alongside Michael Sheen and Toni Collette.
In addition to acting, Austin is interested in current events and environmental issues and devotes time to organisations that give back to the community.
