Jake Lacy is an American actor best known for his starring role as Casey in the television sitcom Better with You. It was his first television role. He also starred as customer service representative Pete Miller on the ninth and final season of the mockumentary comedy television series The Office, in 2012. Lacy grew up in Vermont and graduated from The North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008. His work includes a Sundance Institute Theatre Project with director Mark Brokaw and a lead role in the 2010 Columbia thesis short film, C'est Moi. Lacy has been seen on stage in Hartford Stage's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream as Demetrius. He was a member of the Oberon Theater Ensemble and appeared in their production of Much Ado About Nothing as Conrad. He was also part of The Sundance Theatre Lab's Look, We Are Breathing, directed by Mark Brokaw. Lacy currently divides his time between New York and Los Angeles.
