Bio
Michael Harney is an American actor best known for his starring role as Sam Healy, an experienced prison guard and supervisor at Litchfield Penitentiary who has a Master of Social Work and acts as prison counselor to many of the inmates, in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black.
He was previously known for his roles in feature films such as Ocean's Thirteen, Captivity and Erin Brockovich; and for his recurring roles in the television series NYPD Blue, Deadwood and Persons Unknown.
