Lulu Mlangeni is a South African dancer best known for winning the second season of the SABC1 reality competition So You Think You Can Dance, in 2010.

Dance history
She started dancing in Soweto (where she lives) in a community dance group doing modern dancing. Later she got introduced to contemporary in 2004. She has worked with the most prominent choreographers in South Africa such as Gregory Maqoma, Nelisiwe Xaba, P.J Shabaga, James Ngcobo etc. She has toured nationally and internationally (including Germany, Tanzania, Mexico, Brazil, Paris, Amsterdam etc).

She believes she has got what it takes as a person, her personality speaks to everybody. She is versatile, real, hardworking and passionate about what she does at all times.

She has very strong features, she believes that she will change so many lives in so many ways.

Family background
She was born and bred in Meadowlands, Soweto and is the first grandchild to be born on her mother's side.

Audition process
She auditioned in Johannesburg. Her mother and family insisted that she went for the auditions, because she did not want to audition. She ended up auditioning and by the grace of God and of her family's, she has made it thus far.

Profession if not dancing
She would probably be studying towards being a Chartered Accountant, because she loves accounting and maths.

Impression of the South African dance scene
She believes that we as South Africans have evolved in so much and we should keep growing more and more but not lose our traditions.

It would be her dream coming true and mostof her family because they extensively believe in her and her dreams so much.
