Illse Roos (sometimes credited as Ilse Roos) is a South African actress and singer best known for her role as Lynette Strydom on the M-Net soapie Egoli, from 1991-2002.

She also starred as Amalia Malan (in the first season) and Eleanor Joubert (second season) in the kykNET drama series Amalia, from 2005-2006.

She played the role of Livia in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan, from 2007-2009.

In 2016 she joined kykNET soapie Suidooster in the role of Rita du Plooy.

Illse was born and raised in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
