Brandon Routh is an American actor and former fashion model best known for playing the title role in the 2006 feature film Superman Returns.
He currently stars as Wyatt in the television sitcom Partners, since 2012.
Routh, pronounced like "south," was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and grew up in nearby Norwalk. He attended the University of Iowa and starred in many productions at the Norwalk Theater of Performing Arts.
His first professional acting role was in the television series Odd Man Out (1999), and he went on to guest star in the series Gilmore Girls and Undressed.
In his spare time, Routh enjoys playing soccer and basketball, swimming, biking and reading. He has been married to actress Courtney Ford since 24 November, 2007. The couple have one child.
