François Chau is a Cambodian-born American actor best known for his role as Dr. Pierre Chang in the television drama series Lost. He previously played three other characters on Lost: Dr. Marvin Candle, Dr. Mark Wickmund and Dr. Edgar Halliwax.
Chau is featured as Dr. Ng, a brilliant scientist working on the bleeding-edge of genetics and bioengineering for Baoshi Inc., in Gemini Division, a web series about Anna Diaz, an undercover vice cop from the NYPD who is thrust into a secret struggle between a classified government agency called Gemini Division and a group of suspected terrorists known as Sims.
François has appeared in countless other television shows including: Numb3rs, Grey's Anatomy, 24, Alias, Stargate SG-1, JAG and NYPD Blue.
He has also appeared in such films as Rescue Dawn, Lethal Weapon 4, Point of No Return, Rapid Fire, and he played the villainous Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.
