Tim Guinee is an American actor known for his recurring role as Tomin in the television sci-fi series Stargate SG-1, from 2006-2007.
He currently stars as Ben Matheson, Charlie and Danny's father, who conceals a mysterious connection to the blackout, in the post-apocalyptic science fiction drama series Revolution, since 2012.
Guinee has appeared in over 200 roles on the stage, in television and in films. Some of his more recognized work includes characters in Sweet Land (Winner, Spirit Award: Best First Film), Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Personal Velocity, Once Around, How to Make an American Quilt, Ladder 49 and Courage Under Fire.
He also appears in Promised Land with Matt Damon and directed by Gus Van Sant, and can be seen in acclaimed director Rachid Bouchareb's Just Like a Woman. He also plays the recurring role of Andrew Wiley on the televisions series The Good Wife.
Guinee is also a fireman, beekeeper and tightrope walker.
