David Rees is a South African actor best known for his role as Nick Naudé in the M-Net soapie Egoli: Place of Gold, from 1992-2010. David is also known for his role as Chris Welman on the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan, the father of the Welman family who joined the show in June 2016. He was with the show until July 2018.
