Bio

Justin Hartley is an American actor best known for his television roles as Fox Crane on Passions (2002-2006) and as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Smallville, from 2006-2011.

Hartley also starred as the mysterious, blue-eyed Nick Korda in Gemini Division, a web series about Anna Diaz, an undercover vice cop from the NYPD who is thrust into a secret struggle between a classified government agency called Gemini Division and a group of suspected terrorists known as Sims.

Best known for his role as billionaire Oliver Queen (a.k.a. the 'Green Arrow') on Smallville, Justin inked a deal with the show for the final few seasons.

No stranger to playing iconic comic book characters, Justin nabbed the highly coveted role of DC Comics' Aquaman in the 2006 pilot.

Justin also played Todd - Rachel Dratch's love interest - in the comedy, Spring Breakdown, which also starred Parker Posey, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. He has also appeared in the independent thriller Red Canyon.

Born in Knoxville, Illinois, Justin was raised in Orland Park, Illinois with his older brother Nathan and younger sisters Megan and Gabriela.

Justin attended Southern Illinois University and The University of Illinois in Chicago where he majored in History and Theatre.

Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Justin scored his first television job on NBC's Passions where he played the prodigal son of the Crane monarchy for three years.

His favourite pastime is baseball, but he's also an avid basketball player.

He resides in Los Angeles with his wife (and former Passions co-star) Lindsay Hartley and their daughter, Isabella.

He had a starring role as Will Collins, a handsome and charming first-year surgical intern at Denver Memorial Hospital who is a former friend of Emily's from med-school and who is oblivious to her crush on him, in the medical drama television series Emily Owens, M.D., from 2012-2013.
