Filming resumes on 7de Laan on Thursday 7 September after Danie Odendaal Productions told cast and crew to down tools from Monday because of the SABC's failure to pay the production. An insider tells TVSA that mediation efforts were underway when staff were informed that production was shutting down. This statement just in: "After further engagement with the SABC regarding outstanding payments, Danie Odendaal Productions is pleased to announce that although the full amount owed has not yet been settled, there are now sufficient funds to resume production."
