Christia Visser as Lallie Viljoen.
She debuts on Tuesday 14 October, with Amanda Strydom who plays her mother Surina Viljoen.
The Viljoens live in the same area as the Marais family - but they're definitely not as well off.
They make their appearance when a member of the Marais family starts poking around where they shouldn’t – and before long, there are more questions than answers.
It’s precisely while people are searching for those answers that the Viljoens come into the picture.
Christia gives us insight into her character:
Christia: “I have a real soft spot for dear Lallie. She has so much love to give, but nowhere to put it.
She’s gentle and insecure, but emotionally she’s actually very strong and definitely not stupid.
I think she’s someone who truly deserves better than the hand life has dealt her.
Lallie is quiet, but her mind speaks loudly and too much. You never know when the wrong words might accidentally slip out of her mouth.”
Where have you seen Christia?
She had a starring role as Lillie Human in the three seasons of kykNET drama series Die Boekklub and in the Netflix comedy-drama Tuiskoms where she portrayed Lucy.
In 2018 she starred in the SABC2 period drama Onder die Suiderkruis where she played the sulky, moody and strong willed child Jane of the Tredoux family.
She's also been on kykNET's Projek Dina, Fynskrif, Die Nuusmakers, Binnelanders, Arendsvlei, Die Spreeus, Knapsekêrels and Suidooster.
