Dingiswayo, devastated to discover his double betrayal, and marches to war - blind to the trap Ntombazi has set. Ngwadi and Nongila reach the Xhosa but are caught in a British assault. Shaka makes a decision he will regret.

A mighty king falls, and anguish grips the kingdoms. Hletjiwe and Sikhunyana flee a hunting party in pursuit. oYengweni stands on the brink as Zwide’s army descends. Shaka pushes forward, knowing a moment too late could cost everything.
