You've seen him mentioned in the teasers here, now dive into the details...

Siseko Bhonga made his first appearance on Diepe Waters on Monday night (28 April), played by Ashes to Ashes and Projek Dina star Chumani Pan.

Siseko's got a whole lotta Royal going on, with Prince Harry vibez.

He's a Xhosa prince - son of King Mzukisi Bhonga - and he has a deep inner conflict because he's reluctant to embrace the destiny his royal blood demands.

Siseko was raised in tradition but he's been shaped by the modern world which has resulted in his crisis.

He's confident, intelligent and empathetic but he's torn between the expectations of his heritage and the life he truly wants.

His storyline hits troubled waters from this Monday 5 May when Gys discovers something shocking about Siseko's wedding.

Chumani on the role:

Chumani: “I was ecstatic when I got the part. I haven’t worked on kykNET in a while, and I really missed the channel and its viewers. I’ve never played a prince before, so this role felt fresh and special to me.

"Siseko is such a respectful and humble man - he’s someone with strong values and a deep heart. It’s an honour to step into his shoes.”

"He's caring, loving and sweetHe’s got a comedic side too. It was fun to explore that, especially because I don’t usually get to play roles that allow me to be funny.

“Viewers might get frustrated with his journey at times, but I hope they stick with him. What matters is the journey - and they’re going to enjoy going on it with him.

“Siseko’s story reminds us that love can find you when you least expect it - in the most surprising places and moments.”
