Kenny’s demise
Gazi stops Rebs from going on a shooting rampage after Kenny is shot dead. Thenji is touched when Bra Solly hands her a brooch that belonged to his mother. Nka announces the finalists. Khaya is guilt-ridden. Rebs heads to Nomcebo’s mansion and unleashes a hail of bullets.

Chuma manages to take the gun from Rebs. Thenji leaves Khaya with some fat to chew on about their father. Nomsa feels like Solly is replacing her in Thenji’s life. Nelly is hoping to replace MaDlamini. Chuma and Khaya bond over a shared memory.

Nka shows the record label boss photos of Matshidiso and he is unimpressed. Khaya is jumpy and almost attacks Nandi. Rebs wants Kenny’s body to pass by Bra Phil’s grave. Bra Solly opens up and tells Khaya the truth about where he has been all along.

The Sokhulus are unimpressed when they find Khaya holding his father by the neck. Rebs announces that Gazi is moving in. Nka asks Nelly to be the face of the gospel single he's recording with Matshidiso. Rebs’ resurrection cleansing begins.

Nka tricks Matshidiso into singing in the background while Nelly mimes her song on stage. Bra Solly is thrown when Nomsa throws him out of the house. Khaya is shot while protecting Chuma from Rebs.

Khaya is rushed to the hospital with the depot’s van and the Sokhulu’s are emotional. Nelly is enjoying the paparazzi. Matshidiso sees this and seethes. Khaya slips into a coma. And Nomsa blames Bra Solly for Khaya’s misfortune.

Rebs the Sokhulu pest
Nka is left with egg on his face. Rebs enjoys seeing Nomsa and her family suffer, but she feels sad for the broken Velaphi. Chuma begins warming up to Bra Solly. The Sokhulus are worried about Khaya’s expensive operation.

The Sokhulu’s money worries are reignited when Nandi tells them that the NBM money is frozen. Chuma and Nandi are shocked when Rebs announces she's taking over the depot. Bra Solly wants all his children to change their surnames to his.

Chuma and Nandi are traumatised when Rebs shows them the Bra Gibb murder clean-up by Khaya. Bulelani re-pitches the surname change issue to Nomsa, but she is not budging. Velaphi and Thenji come clean to Chuma about who really killed Bra Gibb.

Chuma tells Nandi that they have to let Rebs take over the depot for the Sokhulus sake. Bra Solly is terrified when he wakes up to Nomsa holding boiling water over him. The doctor announces that Khaya needs a kidney donor.

Khaya needs a kidney donor. Nomcebo praises Chuma for looking out for his brother. Rebs tries to bully Nandi into making her coffee to help her settle into her new office. The test results are out and Bra Solly is the only match.

Thenji thanks Bra Solly for giving Khaya his kidney. Bulelani wants Nolitha out of the tavern, but Nolitha warns that he has not seen the last of her. The Sokhulus are together when they see Khaya and Bra Solly in the same ward before they go to theatre.

Mbuso kicks a bin in anger as he watches Chuma and his mother having a tender moment. The Sokhulus worry about the outcome of Khaya and Bra Solly’s surgery. Nka remains adamant about not being anyone’s skivvy.

The money made from the illicit cigarettes has arrived and is distributed by Chuma and Nandi makes her first chunk of dirty money. Nka’s tour with the tourists begins and they're impressed with his good deeds and give him money.
