Episode 1
Elgin
In this series premiere, Iana travels on a vintage steam train to the market town of Elgin, internationally known as the place in South Africa “where the apples come from.”
She meets Dr. Paul Clüver to explore Elgin’s food, culture, and activities.

Athlone
This week Iana travels to the suburb of Athlone. Athlone is known as the home of the Gatsby and boasts a culturally diverse community of the Cape Flats.

Wynberg
Iana travels to Wynberg, known as the transportation hub of the Southern Suburbs. She meets with Jan De Waal to explore the history of Wynberg Village, also known as Little Chelsea.

Woodstock

Koelenhof
Iana heads to Koelenhof, an uncharted part of the Cape Winelands. Koelenhof is mainly associated with its famous winery and the Winelands Light Railway.

Muizenberg
Iana's railway adventure leads her to Muizenberg, known for being one of the best surf spots in South Africa.
Easily identifiable by its colourful beach huts, Iana meets former politician Glenn Babb to explore the food, heritage, and culture of this beach-side town.

Worcester

Iana's railway adventures lead her to the heart of the Mother City. The Cape Town central business district CBD is a perfect main base for all the city's major attractions.

Iana's railway adventure leads her to Paarl, one of the oldest towns in South Africa, particularly known for its pearl mountain or "Paarl Rock."

Noordhoek
This week Iana's final stop for the season is a romantic getaway in Noordhoek. The train stops at Fish Hoek and you need to take a taxi to Noordhoek.
Situated below the Southern Slopes of Chapman's Peak Drive, Noordhoek valley remains one of Cape Town's treasured destinations.
Ruan Pretorius joins Iana, and they leisurely explore this seaside town, consumed by its breath-taking views and exquisite cuisines.
