Vusi Kunene needs to haul out Funani Zwide's scissorhands for a battle with new villain Alex Khadzi, played by Warren Masemola.
Warren, whose extensive repertoire includes starring roles on Tjovitjo, Is'phindiselo, Ses'Top La and Ring of Lies, debuts this Monday 19 September.
His character Alex is a design genius with dark stitching.
He's described as a highflyer who's making a name for himself internationally with accolades - he's been featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list, he won the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers and his creations are flamboyant and provocative.
This reflects his personality too because he has a heart of darkness that's going to provoke Funani.
He has a deep hatred for Funani and wants to wipe out HoZ, but first he wants to bring Funani to his knees.
