Good to see Letetswe in the teasers. He is quite good.
I bet Lehasa will not go to prison, the writers love him too much.
Who is this Luc guy? I had initially thought that that cute yellow guy who visited the Maputlas in late August was this hottie (The streets of Turf are abuzz following a flaming hot new arrival at the Maputla house) but.....he is going to be involved with Lizzie so it can not be him

#1999 I havent read the teasers but I'm just curious: why cant it be him? is it because hes too young for Lizzie?

I hope there will be character development on Mapitsi's boss

@Timone
Yes. He is like 14 or 15...Like the age of Grade 8s. But now I get it. Ntswaki , his sister is the one being referred to by the teasers. Meiki asked her uncle when he visited that she would want Ntswaki to come over for the holidays. So she is this hottie. Plus we now know that she is a problem child. Can not guess wh will be playing her.

True that on Mapitsi. Though I think Mapitsi needs a love life. Something clandestine (from her inlaws) to elevate her character. This Makoti business is not cutting it for me

Shem and Maputla didnt seem happy at all with Meiki suggesting the visit without consulting him, I foresee fireworks

Fireworks indeed

Have you seen how Kat is fighting for Mapitsi though? For the cookbook dream...So adorable

I hate the new Candice with passion, shame. All ill transformed and vile. I feel like, she is going to be headlining that cook book tho since Paddy is a racist. It will be all tears for Mapitsia and KAT

1999 and Time I think Lizzie will date the guy who was supposed to be the receptionist, forgot his name. The flaming hot new arrival I think is Ntswaki Lehasa storyline is boring now aaaaag

@Gigi101, No love, the guy who was supposed to be the receptionist, the one Meiki wanted to get the job is Phuti. The teasers are saying Luc so it has to be someone knew.

After Friday's episode, I kinda understand why  Mapitsi just went in with having Candice on the cover. Distant husband, being underestimated by many people and being decreased to a makoti. She is desperate to make a win. Initiating a whole black lives matter would stall the cookbook publication. Dont think she had a choice

The least Mapitsi could have done was warn Katlego and not let him be humiliated like that infront of the community/patrons, family and friends.  And to think it was Kat who was supportive from the word "Go" and he is the one who put in all the hard work to woo Paddy (shes a good actress by the way) all for Candice to swoop in at the end and claim it all.  It is the culinary school and Chef Marlene all over again.  I really hope Kat does sue!

They should have let Lizzy hook up with Manaka for a juicy storyline and to shake things up a little with the drama that was gonna follow with principal Thobakgale.  I dont like their new deco shem, there is something off I think it is the floor that has ruined it and the furniture and deco is more suited for a young person for instance if it was Lizzy's own place.  The Maputla's place is stylish whilst also being age appropriate for instance.

I personally do not understand Katlego's reasons of not taking Mapitsi's calls, causing him to assume why she was calling. What kind of a businessman does that? Mapitsi did try to call, and text but our boy was o cloud 9.
What hurts is what you mentioned, the irony that Candice gets what she never believed in, it was all Kat. The best way going forward is Kat to buy Candice's shares because the bad blood between them will ruin things. Plus I no longer feel their chemistry, well, I just never did.
]
Lol Manaka and Lizzy would bring the drama shame, Lizzy is too good and she needs some vavavoom.
So you preferred the old decor?
Who are you shipping Magongwa with?  Carol, Evelyn, (or Sthoko, been a while since this one had a storyline)

Kat once said to Candice he doesnt recycle ex's once hes out hes out, LOL! They were actually talking about Pretty but obviously the shoe was fitting for her angel I think this is when she started changing towards him.

The old decor was more Jacobeth Thobakgale appropriate, she seems out of place in that new set up shem.

They would have to bring a new charactor for Magongwa, there is really no one compatible with him currently, Melita would be close though but they also have bad history and besides Magongwa is too stingy for her

Defitely fitting. It was more of a clap back.
Did you watch the episodes two days back? Pretty and Sphola have exposed Kat's weakness in  his face. NAIVETY!! Hope he restructures himself.

Yae vintage and all. I get you. Now it looks like Lizzie's own home lol

Melita is high maintainance. They should have just recast Celia than let her go completely. Those two were just the damned couple

Timone

I was actually saying the same to someone recently about Celia's role, they should have recast it, the void is too large in the Magongwa household, but then again, who would fill Shoki's shoes.
I've had the 6-8/10pm slot for loadshedding the whole of this week including tonight  I only managed to catch up on Monday and Tuesday's episodes so far. Cant wait to catch up on the rest.

When is Rachel maphuthuma coming back, writers through, even if they are not casting the previous actress they should find someone to fill out that role it can't just end like that. Phela marothi doesn't have a role without Rachel. I hone writers are considering this, we want Dr Rachel maphuthuma back (when she vacate they said she went to Cuba to study medicine) and wee how marothi world is turned upside down????

@Timone. Yae Shoki's shoes would have been hard to fill and it would be us the same people who would end up complaining after contrasting the new actor and the old. But some actors have managed to navigate still after the critisism. Brenda Mhlongo replaced Fundiswa Zwane as KamaDonsela on Imbewu. For me, she did justice. Khanyisile Zwane took over the Gontse role on Scandal, she was bad, but we got to appreciate her still. The Magongwa home will never be the same again. Plus her reason of leaving, being Celia, is rather flimsy...Something about Alfred being a bad husband and her wanting a break...Like really? Did she leave on good terms because her exit storyline was the worst in the history of TV. I hope they reconsider a recast TBH. Eish too bad sana, kodwa Pretty held Kat's hands and told him to fight. It was so cozy...Sphola also told Kat to stop acting on emotions. He wanted to break free from Candice and he was given a reality check..."Kata kata, you need Candice. That is it. Find yourself to work with her going foward" Too bad Kobus checked the contract, Kat can not sue, Mapitsi owns him now. His recipes, his chef services. So tge cookbook is going ahead. No drama. @Lady SMS. I am worried that the Kunutus are not being rebranded after Celia changed her surname to Magongwa, Rachel leaving, Nimrod going who knows were. That family had a ring...Esp with Uncle Charles around. Hopefully, they develop Letetswe. He is a good actor. We want the Kunutu empire to be a reality. For me, I am done with the Rachel character. I got closure and am over her. What I need is an introduction to Charles' family and we take it from there

Timone

Terrible exit storyline indeed for Celia, but generally they like these loose ends at Skeem (sis Ouma, no explanation, Big Boy dodgy explanation, Wallet, Nimrod) even if the actor has sadly departed, you can still be creative about their character's exit. I miss the Skeem Saam when the story centered around the original skeem (Thabo, Kwaito and Kat and their families) plus the strong support roles: the Lesholes, Lelos, Kunutus.  But life goes on I guess and stories evolve.

I have since managed to catch up on the episodes, I hope Kat will have the funds to buy Lehasa's shares even though it is ill-advised to make major business decisions based on emotions.

I second you threre. The worst exit storylines they present for us. I have noticed, it is only GTL, that does justice at hemming a character out. At times you"d wonder how creative they get especially after a boil in contacracture agreements eg Zitha, Smanga etc. Even with Mabaso. it was reasonable.
If you have noticed due to Kat's family disappearing on us...Jojo and his mother are always overseas while Gogo Mantsha gets less screen time these days...his impact on the show has been reduced. The Maputlas and The Seakamelas are really doing the most and adding Pax to the cast helped with developing the Kgomos. So stories do evolve for real.
I am wary of Kwezi though, her promotion to main character is just a simple replacement of Amanda Du Point aka Lelo.

I do not know if Kat will afford that. Bet Candice will beat him to it
