The Real Gold Diggers of Cape Town... but wait, there's one more

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have felt as if you're living in the Twilight Zone when The Real Housewives of Cape Town premiered on Mzansi Magic four episodes ago.

Before the series started we were told that there are seven gold diggers on the show. The series art reflected this and the news surrounding the cast told us there were seven.

Flashback to the premiere and every episode since then and there have only been six:

Missing in action... Lulwando "Lue" Tukwayo:

What happened to her and why? Did the others claw her eyes out before the show started? Did she freak out and make a sudden, hasty exit after watching footage before it began? Where is she?

We turned on our gold digging detectors and discovered that she's arriving this week in Episode 5, on Sunday 7 August.

She's a surprise arrival, who claims that she speaks her mind.

In her own words:

Lue: “I speak my mind. I can be misunderstood, but I’ve learned to embrace that.”

Clearly she enjoys being misunderstood.

Here's a refresh of her official bio for the show:

The glamorous and stylish Lulwando is originally from Khayelitsha, and is a property entrepreneur, digital creator and mom of three.

Fun, free-spirited, and fiercely independent, Lue is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has a passion for working with community-based organisations that address issues of GBV and is the founder of an NGO called Wings to Learn.
