Beatrice wakes up in Bormanshoek and feels abandoned and confused as the extent of what she did sinks in. Back in Arendsvlei, Gertie and Ronel are furiously worried about Beatrice. Janice gets irritated when Bianca makes plans to flirt with Krige.

Gertie begs Beatrice to come home. Hein puts his heart on the line and Janice dares to tell the truth about her feelings.

Janice struggles with her feelings for Krige and tries to sort things out. The temporary principal position causes problems but also some fun. Anton is increasingly frustrated with the guests at home and wants to take drastic steps.

The tension builds between Janice and Krige, and Lionel realises something’s not right. Beatrice struggles to find peace and quiet. Natalie tries to control the cottage, but Anton puts his foot down.

Debra struggles to stay strong after the series of emotional punches she’s received due to Wendy’s doings. Ronel tries to convince the governing body that the youngest member of an infamous family should be allowed to study at Arendsvlei. Hein tries his best to make Natalie feel at home.
