The 2020 SAMA Awards announced the public voting categories this week to get the voting underway in the build-up to the five-night virtual awards, starting on Monday, 3 August at 21h30 on Mzansi Magic.

There's no confirm on when they're going to be announced, which concerned us so we double checked to see that there are actually going to be other nominees - you never know with all these "virtual" shenanigans.
Anyhoo, turns out there are. They're going to announced at some unknown time and will be awarded on themed nights.
So the Night 1 categories will be under the theme #ForThaRoots, followed by #ForThaSoul on Night 2, then #ForThaStreets, #ForThaCraft and #ForThaClub.
