Thokozile sets the mood for romance in her hotel room – Ngcolosi is coming over! MaNdlovu grows suspicious of Ngcolosi and Thokozile’s relationship.
Ngcolosi tells Lungani to stay away from his family. Nirupa checks up on Shria who admits that she feels like everyone has let her down.

MaZulu is furious when Ngcolosi refuses to explain why he keeps helping Thokozile, but is left checked when maNdlovu reminds her she hasn’t been a saint herself recently.
Nkululeko discovers that Ngcolosi was in Thokozile’s hotel. The Maphumulos continue to harass Ngcolosi’s business.

Episode 561
Zithuele becomes a suspect in the attacks on Maluju Oil. Lungani becomes friendly with Buhle at Emsamo and spikes her drink.
Lungani shocks Ngcolosi by showing him how close he has been with his daughter. Nkululeko berates Thokozile. Phakade worries about Thokozile’s motives for wanting to join the church.

Ngcolosi will do what Lungani wants, without Phunyuka's help. Phunyuka asks Pranav to help him stop Ngcolosi from getting involved with the Maphumulo’s.

The Maphumulo’s mean business, more death threats. Phunyuka agrees to help him release a truck to them.
KaMadonsela goes to brunch with Thokozile, and Thokozile gets her to open up about MaZulu. Zethu goes through Thokozile's bag and finds a picture of Ngcolosi.

Ngcolosi confronts Pranav about his refusal to allow the truck to be used for the Maphumulo’s. Nomusa struggle’s with balancing her work life since her home burnt down. MaZulu is horrified when a mysterious package is delivered to her door.

Episode 566
Pranav decides to involve the police. Ngcolosi accidentally sets Lungani on Pranav. MaNdlovu wants the house to be cleansed of all the bad omens.
Thokozile is over-friendly and brings a gift for kaMadonsela. Nomusa's mother is drunk and is wheeled home in a wheelbarrow. Nomusa threatens to leave home.

Pranav, N2rupa and Shria are attacked in their home by masked gunmen. Will they finally give in to the Maphumulo’s requests? MaZulu bakes cookies for kaMadonsela in a calculating attempt to win favour with her.
Duduzile, Nomusa’s mother, arrives at Emsamo and entertains the staff with amusing stories about Nomusa, embarrassing Nomusa in the process.

A fired-up MaZulu demands that Nkululeko tell Thokozile to stay away from Ngcolosi. Pranav and Ngcolosi clash bitterly over the truck shipment. Phunyuka discovers something shocking when he delivers the trucks to the Maphumulo’s.

Episode 569
Phunyuka tells Ngcolosi and Pranav what is really happening. Thokozile appreciates being welcomed for dinner. Thokozile performs deep dark acts to get Ngcolosi.
Nomusa arrives for work late, and Lindo is not impressed. Lindo reshuffles his staff's shifts. Nomusa gets the least shifts, and is gutted.

Episode 570
Pranav and Ngcolosi are distressed at the thought that Lungani will find out the truck has been reported stolen, so they call him to pre-empt the news. Duduzile causes Nomusa stress at work, by opening up her business at Emsamo.
Nkululeko and Shria are suspicious of Pranav and Ngcolosi’s behaviour. Thokozile informs kaMadonsela that their luck is about to change.

Thokozile is frustrated with the sangoma because the muti doesn’t seem to be working, so the sangoma creates an even more powerful potion that yields terrifying results. Duduzile is hell-bent on making money to help Nomusa.

MaZulu starts having nightmares. MaNdlovu suspects that there are evil spirits. Ngcolosi receives a call from Lungani telling him that he can have Nkululeko’s car back on condition that he collects it in person. Phunyuka and Pranav warn him that it could be a trap.

Phakade comforts MaZulu and gives her some holy water. KaMadonsela gets angry and tells Phakade he has to choose between her or maZulu. Does maZulu think kaMadonsela put muti on her?
Nomusa tries to reach out to her mother but Duduzile is desperate to go drinking with her friends instead.

Episode 574
MaZulu goes against Ngcolosi's wishes and goes to maKhumalo. Nomusa rushes home and finds out her mother has burned the house down and is being rushed to hospital after inhaling smoke. Nirupa puts to rest Shria's suspicions that there's something Pranav is keeping from them.
The Maphumulo’s are not done with Ngcolosi and Pranav, they want to teach them a lesson they will never forget.

Ngcolosi is kidnapped by two thugs. Pranav is kidnapped by the same two thugs that took Ngcolosi. Makhumalo reveals what is happening to MaZulu, and that a piece of MaZulu’s underwear has been taken to make muti. Nomusa has slept at the hospital but still has no news about her mother.

A deadly game of Russian roulette puts Ngcolosi and Pranav in a tight spot... will either of them survive this? MaZulu’s nightmares grow worse. Nirupa grows worried that Pranav hasn’t come home, and begins to fear the worst.
Lindo wants to sanction Nomusa until he learns the real reason she hasn’t pitched for work.

Ngcolosi returns home and his disappearance remains a mystery to the family. Nirupa calls the police that Pranav has not come home. Nomusa’s friends are worried about her and discuss how to support her.
