And the fact that DStv Family and Access subscribers still have access to Compact resulted in a mega boom for many TV shows in April.
Uzalo, Gen, Skeem Saam, Rhythm City and DStv's Top 5 shows reached their highest viewership ever and SABC3 proved that fear and panic sells with the movie Contagion.
Also: Gomora became the new Idols, toppling The Queen from its throne to prove that DStv shows are capable of reaching 2.5-million viewers.
Oh, and The News became important.
NB: Skeem Saam's viewership has increased by a whopping 3-million viewers since
January 2020 during the rolling blackout and Uzalo is up by 1,139,724-million from last month.
