The South African version of Steve Harvey's game show Family Feud goes into production soon and the search is on for families who want to be in the action.

The series is being produced for by Rapid Blue (Strictly Come Dancing, Come Dine With Me SA) and the set-up will be exactly the same as the American version, with Steve Harvey as host.

The format: Each episode features two families who compete for cash and prizes.

The game: Families must name the most popular responses to survey-type questions posed to 100 people. See the video at the end to give you an idea.

I wanna enter but my family would never...

Go for it RainPrincess - convince them!... maybe they'll surprise you.

It would be cool if you could also enter with your "family", even if you aren't related, like close friendship groups, people you regard as family.

That would defeat the point I suppose.

I'm gonna rally my cousins Tashi, I just hope they don't have anything restricting them from entering.

Cool RainPrincess - good luck!

I agree 100% Tashi. I am confident my family will be awesome, problem is we are scattered all over South Africa and this poses a nightmare to get everyone together. Only me and my daughter in Gauteng. :(. Hopefully later.
