Olympus town
It happened with Mars Season 1, it happened with
Genius: Picasso and now it's happening with Mars 2.
The new six-episode season premieres on our National Geographic channel this Sunday (11 November) at 20h00 and we'll be seeing it FIRST because it's only starting later in the countries that always get to see things ahead of us.
It's only starting in America on Monday at 21h00 so we're well over a day ahead of them.
It also starts on Sunday in the UK and France, but the UK is two hours behind us and France is an hour behind, plus their's only starts at 20h40 so we can spoil them all on Twitter. Bwa!
And those in Asia are only seeing it on Thursday, 15 November.
It's such a cool feeling to be living in the future instead of being left behind as we so usually are with international shows.
As for what we can expect from the season... it's set nine years after Season 1 ended. Our intrepid explorers have set up a colony on Mars called Olympus Town where they have to survive every challenge of Mars and a new enemy: corporate greed.
SpaceX designer Elon Musk will once again give his real world take on the fictional story, along with scientists and other minds-in-the-know.
After the premiere, there's a SpaceX special that starts at 21h00, called ISS: 24/7 on a Space Station.
It looks at SpaceX's real world plan to get humanity to Mars. It was filmed over three years and goes behind-the-scenes with Elon and his engineers to reveal the status of their mission to take us to another planet.
Bring it on!
