Irene initially forbids Caio from being a pallbearer for Daniel's coffin, but later gives in. Graca gives Marino and Tadeu shocking news.

Irene burns down Aline's fields with Ramiro's help. Tadeu hears Luigi's voice over the computer screen and he and Enzo come to the conclusion that the masked woman must be Petra.

Petra tells Luigi that she can't stand being touched. Tadeu, under the impression that Petra is his queen, hugs her in her bedroom, leading to great consternation.

Antonio orders Ramiro to kill Aline and he unsuccessfully tries to drown her in the river. After pressure from Antonio, Caio asks Graca to marry him and she is ecstatic about it.

Aline tells her mother that Caio agreed to marry Graca for the sake of Daniel’s son. Irene sends Ramiro to drop a snake in Berenice’s closet.

Candida names Luana as her successor as bar owner. Berenice vows to fight this tooth and nail.

Berenice is kicked out of the bar, Luana takes over and forces Berenice to scrub the floors. Caio deposits money to pay Aline’s debts but Irene diverts the money to an orphanage.
