The new Moja Love telenovela Hope premiered last Wednesday (14 February) at 19h00, on the same day that the channel went live.
The first three episodes aired from Wednesday to Friday at 19h00 so that the show could start on the first day the channel went live. From now onwards, new episodes will broadcast from Mondays to Wednesdays at 19h00.
The series centres round the life of Pastor Zakes Buthelezi (played by Nimrod Nkosi) - a meek pastor whose faith and integrity are put to the test when all he has built throughout his life starts to crumble around him.

Pastor Zakes and Lindiwe decide to bury their heads in the sand and accept Duduzane's version of his liaison with Sasha. The church car park is littered with trash, and angry words pass between Pastor Zakes and Bishop Abel.

Deacon Masondo asks the Pastor for a loan. Captain Letebele thinks that Bongo and Sipho might be connected to Bishop Abel’s truck hijacking. Feeling the pressure of his dwindling church, the Pastor snaps and takes out his frustrations on the church members.

Episode 6
Lindiwe calls on Letebele to help convince Zakes to call off his fast. Meanwhile, the church is losing congregants thanks to Zakes’ sermon. Thando tries to kiss Xavier and he rejects her. Gogo Rita convinces Masondo to help her launder money through the church.

Pastor Zakes is on the verge of giving up. He's weak and his troubled soul is more vexed by his own daughter's wild behavior. Gogo Rita puts her plan into action, and Deacon Masondo is not happy about it but finds it hard to challenge the old lady. Duduzane is the hero of the day with his powerful sermon.

Gogo Rita's house gets raided but nothing is found. Things start looking up at the church. And Pastor Zakes finally ends his fasting. And he gets more good news when he hears of Bishop Abel's possible demise.

Pastor Zakes and Lindiwe worry that Thando is becoming more and more rebellious, and despite Pastor's attempts to bond with her, Thando is still distant. Lindiwe and Thando fight, and when Lindiwe attempts to make up with her, she realizes that Thando has snuck out of home.
