Special notes

Universe update

The Broadcast Research Council (who compile the TAMS) implemented a universe update in October, which means that the number of viewers per AR has increased marginally.

TAMS universe updates ensure that an AR represents the evolving TV environment as accurately as possible. When the universe gets updated, the number of viewers per AR changes to reflect this.

Diski Divas

There's something dodgy going on with the Diski Divas viewership numbers at No. 2 on the DStv ratings. It's listed as airing in the Our Perfect Wedding timeslot on Sunday, 1 October at 19h00 but it didn't air in that timeslot on the night.

For an explanation of the TAMS, please see: The TAMS ratings explained.

It's incredible how Isibaya has fallen off where it used to dominate for years. Can't even make the third spot.
