Going off-grid - and off the radar - in 21st century Britain is a near impossible task. Surveillance society catches everyday people on CCTV up to 70 times a day, but the ever-watching eye can see much further than that.
The stakes have never been higher for 14 fugitives competing in this real-life thriller where everyday people go on the run from a team of expert hunters, with a cash prize of £100,000 up for grabs.
Coming up in the season, one fugitive starts his journey by bicycle; a pair of amputee veterans use their military experience to avoid detection; and will the hunters' use of tracker dogs and aerial drones prove effective?
The race is on as the runaways try to outwit and outrun a crack team of experts - with backgrounds in the UK police, British and military intelligence – for 28 days.
