Special notes

Tjovitjo

SABC1's Tjovitjo premiered as the fourth most popular show in the country on Sunday, 20 August. Its audience share of 50.3 means that 50.3% of South Africans who were watching TV on the night, were tuned into the show.

The Sunday night ratings war

Unfortunately it's impossible to tell what impact Tjovitjo has had on Mzansi Magic's 20h00 Sunday night drama iNumber Number because of the limitations of these lists.

These lists only include the most popular episode of each show so there's no available figure for iNumber Number on Sunday, 20 August because its most popular episode aired on Sunday, 6 August.

The only conclusion we can reach from these numbers is that iNumber Number didn't get more than 926,523 viewers on Sunday the 20th. This iNumber is 215,081 viewers down on the show's highest episode in July.

Please note: These ratings are compiled by the Broadcast Research Council and not by TVSA.
