Have you ever experienced the twisted madness of someone copying you and wanting to take over your life?
This is the future that awaits Rhythm City's Reneilwe (Amo Chidi) when her murky mirror image Kgaugelo arrives on the scene this month.
She's played by TV newcomer Lethabo Mashego, who landed the role through the soapie's online audition process that called for actresses who look like Amo.
23-year-old Lethabo, who was born in Bushbuck Ridge in Mpumalanga, studied drama at school and completed her National Secondary Certificate at the National School of the Arts in 2011.
This is what she has to say about her casting - and herself:
“I am so excited about this opportunity to work with and learn from these big names in the industry. I'm a Broadway diva in my spare time, I love playing netball and I'm obsessed with anything beauty-related, be it clothes, shoes or make up. I also really value my sleep and would do anything to sneak in a nap!”
Thankfully she's very different from Kgaugelo whose obsession with Reneilwe takes her into the dark, creepy world of "Stalker!"
Kgaugelo copycats Reneilwe and gets so whackjob that she goes for a radio interview, pretending to be Reneilwe as Electra.
She debuts on Tuesday, 18 July.
