The boerewors hasn't cooled down after Season 5 yet and already the search has begun for contestants for Season 6.

Ultimate Braai Master 5 wrapped on e.tv on Sunday (30 April) and was won by team Salty Flames, made up of Chanel Marais and Nick, who got lucky with the positive surname of Perfect. They had no previous braai experience but managed to beat professional chefs and butchers to the win and scored themselves these prizes:

R400 000 in cash.
R200 000 worth of Game vouchers.
A new Suzuki Grand Vitara valued at R400 000.
The title of Ultimate Braai Masters.

If you're keen on winning a similar haul and know someone who wants to join you on a trippy adventure, then this is what you need to know...

The format

The series is a braaing cookey challenge featuring teams of two who travel to different parts of the country and compete against each other by cooking different dishes on the open flame.
