The Afrikaans language channel VIA on DStv has an open relationship with viewers, producers and potential producers when it comes to its shows and the people featured on its series.

It offers everyone the opportunity of proposing their ideas - or themselves - to be on the channel.

How to propose a show

If you an idea for a show that you'd like to bring to life, you can e-mail VIA directly at this address: voorstelle@viatv.co.za

You need to make the title of your show idea the title of your e-mail.

The crew from VIA will then send you an application form which you'll need to fill in and return to them. They will let you know if your application is successful within two months.

How to be on a show

If you'd prefer to be on one of their shows you can apply for specific shows via the channel's website. You can choose to apply for various shows.

For a full listing of the shows, see "Wees op VIA" on the VIA website here: www.viatv.co.za.
