On his way back to Los Angeles, Liam makes acquaintance with a fellow passenger who is forced to hear all about Steffy. Commiserating with Steffy over their respective flawed and failed relationships, Wyatt realises who the perfect girl has been for him all along.
Seeing how Zende’s recent success is due to his chemistry with Sasha, Nicole becomes jealous of them working together.

Eric and Quinn brainstorm about how the Forrester Creations’ jewelry line will function with Ivy being in Australia.
Miscommunication, coupled with an unfortunate misunderstanding, prompts Liam to make a drastic decision about his personal and professional lives. Brooke apprehensively begins her first day at Spencer Publication working hand-in-hand with Katie and Bill.

Because of the previous interaction that they had, the tension between Brooke and Bill is palpable as they begin their work together at Spencer Publications. Seeing how helpful she was to Zende in his latest photo shoot, Rick offers Sasha a position at the company.
Nicole fills Maya in on how her friendship with Sasha has always been of a competitive nature. Sasha has aspirations of obtaining more than just a job at Forrester Creations.

Nicole attempts to hide her disappointment and jealousy when she learns about Sasha’s new position at Forrester Creations.
Katie voices confidence in her sister’s loyalty when Rick questions how she feels about Brooke working so closely with Bill. Jealous at how closely Sasha will be working with Zende, Nicole confronts Rick about his hiring decision.

Because Nicole has selflessly sacrificed so much of herself for him and Maya, Rick makes a sacrifice of his own. Wanting to think the best about her sister and her husband, Katie doesn’t detect the tension going on between Brooke and Bill.
Nicole’s insecurity gets the best of her as she notices how much attention Zende is receiving from other women. Sasha’s hopes are dashed as she receives bad news about her position at Forrester Creations.

A private conversation between Nicole and Rick regarding the new modeling position at Forrester Creations is overheard by Sasha. When given the opportunity to fess up to Sasha about her involvement in Rick’s change of heart, Nicole does what she feels comfortable with.
Despite his lingering feelings for Brooke, Bill realizes the importance of his marriage and his family. Carter gives Zende a bit of advice regarding how a single guy his age should be living.

Steffy walks in on a life-changing moment for Liam and attempts to convince him to reconsider his drastic decisions. Hurt by Nicole’s actions against her, Sasha goes to Zende to inform him of his girlfriend’s uncharacteristic deceit.
Nicole is caught off-guard when Zende and Sasha confront her about her conversation with Rick. Quinn gets good news about something that she has had her heart set on for a long time.

Bill, Katie and Brooke get used to working together side-by-side at Spencer Publications. While plotting to fix Wyatt’s love life, Quinn blindsides him with unexpected news regarding her marriage with Deacon.
Unaware of the real reason behind his decision, Steffy crosses the line with Liam with her unfounded accusations. Quinn relentlessly interrogates Liam about his failed relationship with Steffy.

Quinn takes advantage of a perfect opportunity to give Wyatt and Steffy some time and space to realize that they are perfect for each other. Determined to get Liam to change his mind about their relationship, Steffy arranges for a romantic evening for them.
Bill tries his best to keep his distance from Brooke knowing that she is a big distraction to him, his work, and his marriage.

Distraught by the callous message that she received from Liam, Steffy finds comfort in the arms of Wyatt. Wanting to cheer Steffy up, Wyatt has an idea that will take her mind off of her relationship woes.
Somewhat oblivious to what is really causing Bill to be distracted in the office, Brooke makes a suggestion that she thinks may help. An anxious Quinn has her hands full while juggling several schemes in the name of family.

A very curious, yet apprehensive, Quinn is able to gauge Liam’s condition during his few moments of consciousness aftre his collapse. Wyatt is able to at least take Steffy’s mind off of Liam during a day at the beach.
When questioned by Eric about Brooke working at Spencer Publications, Katie assures him that she completely trusts that her sister and Bill have nothing more than a professional relationship. Bill and Brooke discuss their past together and how difficult it is to suppress their feelings for one other.

Feeling as though her feelings for Bill are a betrayal to Katie, Brooke contemplates resigning from Spencer Publications. Because of a private conversation that she overheard, Katie recalls a part of her life that was the most painful for her.
Despite being comforted by Wyatt, Steffy is still agonizingly hopeful that Liam will reach out to her. Quinn inadvertently learns about what happened to Liam before her encounter with him in the parking lot.

Brooke assures her sister that she will always remain loyal when Katie angrily confronts her about professing her love for Bill. The conversation between the Logan sisters becomes heated when accusations are hurled. Caroline and Bill catch up on their respective personal and professional lives.
Wyatt gives Steffy several reasons why and ideas on how to move on with her life without Liam in it. Quinn is in disbelief when Liam surprises her with a very enlightening question.

Eric lends a supportive ear to Brooke as she upsettingly confides in him about her previous encounter with Katie. Excited to present his wife with a special gift, Bill is blindsided by Katie, who has a surprise of her own.
Still unable to get Liam off of her mind, Steffy welcomes an unexpected distraction from Wyatt. Thinking that Steffy needs to conquer a significant fear to move on with her life, Wyatt gives her a present to assist her in doing so.

Steffy is afraid and apprehensive of accepting Wyatt’s gift because of a prior experience and of what using it would signify. Quinn tries her best to prevent Liam from having any contact with Steffy.
On behalf of his dear friend, Brooke, Eric pays a visit to Bill to suggest playing peacemaker between Katie and her estranged sister. Feeling as though she didn’t get her point across previously, Katie sets new ground rules for her relationship with Brooke.

Assuming that his sister is involved with someone new, Thomas isn’t too pleased when he learns that Steffy has been spending time with Wyatt. Without revealing her secret, Quinn vows to Wyatt that she will do whatever it takes to ensure his ultimate happiness.
Quinn is conflicted about her stance towards Liam due to their past interactions versus his current state. Knowing that Thomas disapproves and that Steffy is still pining over Liam, Wyatt is determined to prove to everyone that he is a good man.

When Julius makes another attempt to talk Sasha into returning to Chicago, she informs him that her new position as a Forrester Creations model prevents her from doing so.
Zende’s repeated attempts to become intimate with Nicole again come to a screeching halt when she suggests that they wait until after the baby arrives.
A still-fuming Katie has a difficult time letting go of Brooke’s betrayal and accuses Bill of not supporting her feelings. Eric defends Brooke when Rick questions her about leaving Spencer Publications.
