:0 ... Rhythm City star Jamie Bartlett (David Genaro) was the victim of a hijack ordeal on Friday (27 January) when three armed men hijacked his car while he was driving in Brixton and forced him into the boot.
In a statement
published by eNCA, police spokesperson Kay Makhubela said that the attackers drove with Jamie and dropped him in an open field in Zonkizizwe in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
Jamie went to a nearby house for help and the residents called the poilice who've opened a case of kidnapping, armed robbery and hijacking against his attackers.
They took his phone, bag and two gold rings.
According to the South African Heroes Twitter account, Jamie wasn't physically hurt. Rhythm City will be releasing a statement today clarifying his condition - we'll keep you posted when we hear.
