Calling all TV and film graduates... M-Net's Magic in Motion academy is on a search for candidates for this year's internship programme.
The course, which has become an annual offfering, runs for 12-months and caters to filmmakers who have a diploma or degree in film, TV or a related qualification.
It offers hands-on training in producing, directing, cinematography, production commissioning, concept creation, script writing, sound, art direction, editing, post-production etc.
The aim of the programme is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation so that graduates can enter the world of production with hands-on skills.
Once the course is complete, M-Net will select the three most exceptional interns to produce their own films which will be funded by M-Net with a view to screening them on TV.
The course starts in May this year under the guidance of Academy Director, Bobby Heaney and M-Net CSI and Skills Development Manager, Ashika Kirpal.
