A heads-up that auditions for the 13th instalment of Idols begin this weekend (14 January) with the first auditions kicking off in Cape Town.
Resident judges Unathi Msengana, Randall Abrahams and Somizi Mhlongo will be back to judge and will be joined by a different guest judge at each venue who will replace Gareth Cliff following his resignation last year.

Audition must-knows
- Entry is open to all South African citizens who are between the ages of 16 and 30 on the date of their first audition.
- Minors must have written consent signed by a parent or guardian.
- All auditionees must take along an ID book.
