Survivor: There's no point having brains if you don't use them!

The Brains lost their grey matter completely, the Brawns used their brains bigtime and the Beauties looked beautiful even when they were drowning.

The second episode of Survivor Cagayan proved that you can be stuffed with brains but they mean zilch/nudda/NOTHING if you don't use them correctly.

J'Tia's brains were non-existent from start to finish and were totally at the mercy of her volatility. She was so wound up and panic-stricken during the puzzle Immunity Challenge that her brains literally left her body. She had absolutely no control over her mind.

It was the same thing when she destroyed the rice, except it was rage that destroyed her logic. It was a different story with the Ken doll poker playing Garrett because he didn't even need an emotional meltdown to turn into an idiot. Only the biggest stupids are voted out of Survivor with an idol. Bwah!

It's truly gobsmacking how many people go onto Survivor and believe that they're "above the game", which he believed the moment he forced everyone into that open tribunal. It was obviously a bully ploy to control everyone which showed him up and served to empower Tasha and Kass because Tasha used the problem as an opportunity.

Someone recently told me this... to turn problems into opportunities and it works! I've tried it a couple of times and it's been brilliant and seeing Tasha do it confirmed it - it's defs the way to go.

I love the fact that she wants to strategize and backstab and hide in the woods and that she took on Ken like that. It was brilliant seeing his arrogance trampled into the ground.

She was 100% correct when she said that it was the girls' only opportunity to break the Garrett/Spencer alliance, which worried me. I didn't trust that Kass would stick with her but I was very pleased when she did because Tasha's a player of note and I don't want her going anywhere.

She was the only one on the tribe who used her brains and she wielded them like a weapon.

Catch my Survivor ramblings every Monday after the show.

Yes big ups to Tasha and Kass on that move, though ultimately it was in Kass's hands. J'Tia is indeed a trainwreck though. And Garret's resigned / diva act rightfully got him chopped.
